People Business was established in March 2001, by Morag Maclean. As a main stream business, the company aims to offer a tailored support service to start up, expanding and established businesses and organisations, who either do not employ Human Resource professionals or require additional support/mentoring for whoever deals with ‘people issues’ within the company. People Business also undertake’s bespoke recruitment projects.

As people are the most important asset of any business, people issues can not be ignored. Moreover, the growing minefield of employment law and the increasing monetary compensation available to employees and ex-employees who have potentially been treated unfairly, makes the professional and knowledgeable handling of people issues a ‘must have’.

Compared to large organisations, small businesses are often specialist in what they do but what they often lack is access to the types of know-how, technologies, capital, economies of scales and other resources that the bigger companies enjoy.
